Enjoying the Sunshine

DSCN2115

For a very short time today, the sun was shining.  Nekoka can’t believe his luck; he positions himself in the very best spot for catching every last ray.

But the sun didn’t stay long enough to wipe the sad look from Nekoka’s face.

Maybe it will still be shining downstairs?

Oh, Mom has opened the window!  Sassafrass and Nekoka take turns keeping an eye on the camera.

I even had the kitchen window opened during the brief sunshiny episode.

The cats and I are so sick of rainclouds and dreariness.  Someone turn on the sunshine for more then just an hour, please!

Love those alternating eyes! Tabs must be kept.

  2. You know that somehow the Cats blame you for the weather!

We need more sunshine too. The Miao kitties love the sun but when it doesn’t show up for several days, they just take it as an excuse for a really long nap.

Nekoka looks like he needs a hug.

Like they need an excuse for a really long nap! We should only have it so good. And Neko does need hugs – I give him hugs a plenty but more are always wanted.

No such thing as too many hugs!

btw, I really enjoy your blog and have awarded you the Versatile Blogger Award. I think you may have already received it from elsewhere but the Miao Brothers are copycats.

Thanks for thinking of my site! I dont think i’m much of a versatile blogger though, I just post pictures of my little world. I saw the list of requirements and went into immediate panic attack 🙂 Those dern copycat Miao brothers lol! It certainly is a little cat world when we all end up nominating each other.

Birds *and* cats – I think that’s pretty versatile. 😉 I completely understand your panic. Recommended course of action: Take a nap with a cat (not sure if the birds are cuddly nappers?).
