Nekoka and Sassafrass are now insisting I purrchase them some mini-pumpkins. I have no idea why…
Big Cat Rescue is a very worthwhile cause in my opinion. Check them (and their wonderful cats) out.

I’ve they’d be as cute as these big cats I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem! I have a box gourds from a display for decoration, and I wish I had a nice summy spot to photograph them exploring and playing with them.
I want to see my Nekoka plunging into his tub with a mouthful of pumpkin 😛
Wow. So amazing to see!
I cannot help but see my own cats in these wonderful creatures. The website has a ton of videos and I can watch them all over and over. They really try to enrich the lives of the cats in their care.
This is my favourite post from around wordpress in ages – thanks Wazeau! I just love seeing how their play is exactly the same as our mogs’ – just a few hundred pounds heavier and with significantly more bite! Watched them both, then watched them with my kids. Great!
There are a bunch more videos on there youtube page. I always get a lift when I need them from watching their big cats and then my little cats.

I bought a pumpkin yesterday and Not Cat has had a good sniff of it. He hasn’t ‘loved’ it like these big cats though. Just as well. I want it for soup!
I got some little ones too. My cats ignored them. My parrots loved them though!
Thanks for posting this – it’s so cool to see the Big Cats playing like Little Cats! I’m putting pumpkins on my wishlist.
And here I thought my little cats were playing like the big cats! That white tiger, so gorgeous! That’s Nekoka’s hero!
