We Love When Mom Works From Home

Cause we get to supervise everything she does.

And make ourselves comfortable on her laptop case.

And keep a close eye on her while she tries to concentrate.  Notice she has removed the sheets from the couch since there will be a stranger down in the basement!  (If he was here already, Nekoka and Sassafrass would be hiding in a place only they know.)

Plus Mom brings us upstairs so that Bandit’s loud watch-parrot shrieks don’t deafen the poor plumber who just wants to fix the leak and get out of here.

If only she was always home like this!

Don’t I look so awesome on the couch????

  2. Pat Bean says:

    The eyes take the day.

    • Wazeau says:

I always see intelligence in Bandit’s eyes, while in these pictures the cats just look all sleepy-content. Merlin’s too out-of-focus in his shot – he was supposed to be the one in focus since he is in the foreground, and Bandit got his own picture already, but my camera just has a mind of its own sometimes.

It’s just that Merlie is so much bigger than Bandit. See? Just look at the size of him! Too big for the camera!

  4. Dianda says:

My cats always sit on my bags as well, haha!

Oh, and I think your blog deserves an award. 🙂

I know what ya mean! BTW, that orange kitty looks ALOT like our Yella Fella!

    Have a great day!

That’s probably an obvious question that you were often asked, but I’m still curious – how do they live together, your birds and your cats? Are they all friends?

    • Wazeau says:

They tolerate each other and, of course, the birds are never out without me there to supervise. The cats are actually a bit intimidated by the parrots, who are very loud and completely unafraid of the cats. I’m usually more having to protect the cats from the birds then the other way around. I do get the feeling that the cats are just waiting for me to come to my senses though and roast up the little flying brats for dinner one day.

Wow, Bandit is so gorgeous. Everyone else is too, of course, but I am just awed by the brilliant colors of his feathers and how they blend into each other.
