Grooming can be such a chore.
Nekoka does a great job on his leg, but what about that dirty spot on his chin?
The paw is clean (and so kissable!) but what about the dirt up that nostril?
It might be a tad risky poking Nekoka with my foot while he straightens out his fur.
It is just so hard to resist, even when he lays his ears back and glares.
Oh that was close – it isn’t easy pulling one’s foot out of the way of a rampaging cat while snapping a photo! Especially with my lackadaisically-focusing camera.
Nekoka says, you wouldn’t dare try that again now would you?
Hell yes I would!
But only briefly; I’m afraid of those claws.
Nekoka wins this round. I’ll let him finish his tongue bath in peace.

There is just something about that little pink cat tongue that drives us “peeps” crazy!

Aww thanks! He does get a lot of help from me grooming too – Neko insists on almost daily cat brushings. He coat is so soft its irresistable.
So brave, you! Hard to resist interrupting them, when they do it to us all the time.
At least when I interrupt him he isn’t sound asleep, and I don’t do it with my butt in his face like he does to me at 3 am in the morning!

He has left his marks in me skin before and he will again, because as much as I love him I have to tease him sometimes. But Nekoka is actually a very good sport about it.

I love smooching their fur right were they are bathing. I’m not sure if they appreciate it.
