On Sunday afternoon Nekoka spent some time lounging around on the arm of my couch while I lay at the other end, camera at the ready. He knows when he has my full attention and loves to pose.
I find him an endlessly fascinating target, but managed to refrain from poking him with my feet while he fidgeted.
He kept an eye on my toes though, knowing me as he does.
I kept a very close eye on his toes as well. How could I not when he kept aiming them at me like this?
When I resisted the toe tease, he showed me his white chin as if egging me on.
I felt quite pleased with myself for avoiding temptation. Nekoka couldn’t believe my self control. Excuse me while I go pounce on him.

I love the various games we play and how they have evolved as the cats grow from kittens to old fogies. (I have been an old fogie for so long I don’t count)

He gets so many different expressions out of an ear quirk and the positioning of his legs 🙂

He really is a lovable, loving hunk of yellow cat. I adore him.

He definately is more bark then bite sometimes. He likes his space, but he is a big cuddle-bunny when he wants attention. He’s one of those cats that likes to squish in between your body and the chair you occupy, with his head stuffed in your armpit, and purr his brains out while you hug and squeeze and kiss and ruffle his coat. And he has the self control to just remove himself when he has enough, unlike some other cats that erupt in a frenzy when they get that one pat too many.
Purrrrfection.
Ahh!! yes!! “.. erupts in a frenzy” sounds just like this new little Sweetie that I have [Candy didn’t like being called “Candy”, but does like “Sweetie”, so “Sweetie” it is.]. I don’t think she has much experience of being cuddled.. she’s certainly Delighted by fishing rod-type games.. now that she realises I’m not trying to hit her with it.

My dear little new Candy is Delightful when she tucks in against me for a cuddle. She relaxes totally n loves to be squished in tight. She’s a very small, dainty [3kg] little cat underneath all her pretty long hair. xxx
Wooaaa! Me just had a flashback! We’s had a sofa that looked JUST LIKE YOURS!!!! And mes would has loved it even more if had Nekoka on it when wes had it!

wow that’s wild! I have had this couch/love seat set for, good grief, since I moved into my house which was twenty years ago? I tend to hold on to stuff forever 🙂
