This Is Why I Prefer Vertical Blinds

Horizontal blinds, besides being much better dust trappers than vertical blinds, also make a lot more noise when a big yellow cat squeezes his huge body between the slats to get closer to the window.

They also seem to hold smells longer and require human assistance when it comes to getting back on the inside without wreaking havoc.

Horizontal stripes also make you look larger than normal whereas vertical stripes, as we all know, are slimming.

A little help here, please?

Now that was an exhausting morning!  Nekoka will need the rest of the day to recover.

Ohh, What a Delightful interlude, Cyn :)) As you contemplated Nekoka and his blind spot.
I’m Glad to see he’s enjoying his new home, with all it’s sunny perks, more now.
Hope you’re feeling more settled in, too.
Her Ladyship’s taken it all in her stride, hasn’t she?!! That tortitude stands them in good stead when unfamiliar situations occur.. they assume their World will continue to honour them, regardless.. which, of course, it then does.
[Have just found that Sweetie, 18 yrs, is hyperthyroidy.. n must have a tablet twice daily for ever more. A daunting prospect, but I’m glad there’s something we can do for her.]

Aww poor Sweetie, and poor you having to give her medicine twice a day! You are right though about tortitude – Sassy was barely phased at all by the move. She knows whereever she is, she’s in charge 🙂

  2. The blinds do look nice and sturdy – for now! If you replace with vertical don’t get the ones with fabric on, or they will turn the colour of cat-fur in no time 🙂

    Loving your sunshine!

Plastic or vinyl all the way around here! I won’t replace them till they are about to fall apart though, spent enough money this year already and its only February 🙂
